Music and Marriage. You Lost that Loving Feeling?

What song was playing at your wedding? Do you still play it or dance with your partner to it? Would you smile if that song came on? I really do. People forget the most important things. Maybe something was overlooked. Do people in love have to like the same music? Have you ever wondered if this is something in your soul that can always take you back to how you felt when you fell in love for the first time?

Let me explain how music is different between my first marriage and my current one.

In my first marriage, I can't think of anything spiritual that brought us together. I don't mean church music when I say this. "Let's Get It On" brought back memories for older people when they heard that song. Maybe that wasn't your wedding song, but it could have been the song you listened to on your honeymoon! Maybe you didn't have a favorite song at the time, but you thought this one was good because it was popular. The music is important because this was supposed to be the best night of your life.

Music has a spiritual quality to it. Again, I'm not talking about the church version of "Hallelujah." This link I'm talking about is a love song that made you feel something deep inside. You remember that night and the person you married when you hear it. If this doesn't happen, you might need the songs I'm about to tell you about. It's also possible that you no longer feel love for this person. I'm not sure. When you don't know what to say, the words of these songs will say it for you. They'll make you think about love and make you feel good. When things are bad, this is what you need to bring peace and good vibes to your marriage.

My wedding song was one of the best songs about weddings ever written. I'll tell you what songs I play to make my wife happy. Both ways, these songs work. To think about your love, all you need is a voice and a kiss.

Aerosmith: "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing": This song was playing as my wife rode in on a horse to our wedding. I'm old-fashioned. I can sing all of it. After that, we danced to it, and I play it a lot. Even after 15 months, we still sing it together and dance to it. I hope it will still be the same in 15 or 50 years.

All of Me by John Legend. I'll change things up for the readers. Most people will feel something when they hear this song, and if they don't, they have problems. If they can't feel the love when you play this, you should take them to therapy.

Still the One by Shania Twain. People think that only certain people like country music. Not true. This classic is so powerful and full of love that it can reach people who don't speak English. Talk to my wife. She doesn't speak English, but she sings this love song like she knows it by heart.

Baby, I Love Your Way by Big Mountain. If you don't download something that reminds you of the past in a different way, you will get tired of the same thing. I hope you like the same music as I do. These songs can also have an effect on the marriages of music fans who are younger.

I Can't Help Falling in Love With You by UB40. This is another song with a lot of love and positive energy. Those who don't like it don't know what good music is. I'm pretty sure you could play this in any country and people would love the vibe, lyrics, and music. This song will make you and your spouse laugh.

Always. Bon Jovi. There's nothing that comes close to the love songs that rock bands used to make. I could think of a lot more things that never get old.

Perfect and Thinking Out Loud, both by Ed Sheeran. Some of the new school's songs are timeless classics that will keep your home feeling good, whether you're cleaning or getting ready for bed.

Don't forget how powerful music can be. If your partner doesn't like the music, play the lyrics and tell them how much you love them. Find out what love songs you both like and keep the music going. Don't stop dancing together, don't forget when you fell in love, and make sure you never lose that loving feeling.
